Werner von Braun


The German scientist Werner von Braun was the leading figure in the development of rocket technology in Germany during the World War II, and later in the United States, where he made many works  in the field of rocketry and jet propulsion which got him called the “Father of Rocket Science” and also responsible of  the nation’s space program. He died of cancer on June 16th, 1977
