Thomas Jefferson


After being Governor of Virginia, Thomas Jefferson extended his legacy not only as the 3rd U.S. president, elected in 1800, also as an author of the Declaration of Independence. He presented a draft to the Congress in June 1776, becoming one of America’s Founding Fathers. He died on July 4th, 1826, at the 50th anniversary of the foundational text implementation.
