Benjamin Franklin


On April 17, 1790, died Benjamin Franklin, the scientist and politician, best known as one of the Founding Fathers, who promoted the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States, also for his work in the 1783 Treaty of Paris to end the Revolutionary War. As an inventor he realized notable electricity experiments.
